My Workout is an app I designed one day whilst attending my gym. I noticed lots of gym enthusiasts using paper or their ‘notes’ app on their smart phone to record their day at the gym. During this time I sparked the idea of My Workout - an app designed specifically for the everyday person who goes regularly to a gym and needs to record their program and their progress. With doing some research with various other apps, I noticed the need to bring out a simple but required app which gives you everything you need without overcrowding your space. The purpose of ‘My Workout’ is to act as a resource which goes hand in hand with you during your gym workout. Everything you need whilst you are at the gym is provided in this app in the following areas: My Program - allows you to upload your various workouts showing the day, the exercise name, sets, reps and weight. My Progress - enables you to keep a record of your entire weight increase or decrease with specific workout exercises whilst also giving you the ability to track your weight gains or loss over a period of time. My Selfie Collection - allows you to track the progress of your body shape through the art of taking photos in the mirror (and if you feel comfortable, post it on Facebook for your friends to see). My Playlist - allows you to upload your songs from your ITunes library to play during your workout. This app has everything you require for a successful and fun experience at any gym.
