Ubique is different from other augmented reality apps, because it gives you an immediate frame of reference: the transparent map. You can help the compass out if it is slightly off or if you want to look around, but can't.

ubique let’s you explore a new ego-centric view on the world.

Ubique is the only AR app that works on the iPhone 3G and 3GS. The automatic map rotation requires the iPhone 3GS compass. On the iPhone 3G the map can only be rotated manually.
