At last no need to toss a coin before deciding if trying to catch a bus on one size or the other of your position: the icons on the screen will do that for you!
Just click on one of the icons to see the list of approaching buses with the expected delay in terms of bus stops and time and the other busses passing by the stop. If you would like to reach a place, you have just to enter it in the new field at the top of the main screen to receive the directions to it from wherever you are in Rome in a few seconds .
The route of the selected bus is both conveniently presented on a list with the nearest stop(s) to your position highlighted and drawn on the map.

One last thing: although the application needs a regular functioning of the Rome transports web site (daily from 6.30 a.m. to 12 p.m.) in order to provide timely updates, even at night and when the web site is down it is possible to know where stops are, which lines belong to them and their routes, what neither a direct web access, nor applications devoid of a specific back-office service would allow.
