The term 'Alter Vú' refers to the idea that two people may recall the details of a story differently.
Many believe that this type of feeling has to do with memories of other versions of ourselves, in parallel or alternate worlds. We are each, the sum of our own experiences. Alter Vú is a first person, point and click adventure that explores the concept that we all walk different paths.
Two years ago it seemed the world fell into darkness.
That day, the quarantine began.
We didn't question it out of fear. Until today.
What's left of this world, is yours to explore.
- An homage to games long past where difficulty is high, choice has consequence and little is linear.
- A melancholic, point and click, horror adventure.
- An otherworldly, haunting story with split paths and multiple endings.
Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions.

Simply click a door or corridor to proceed to a different scene.
Use the back arrow in the bottom right to return to the scene behind you.
The idea behind the card system used in conversation is that you are able to speak about people and places you have come into contact with, as you explore, naturally you have more to engage with others about.
As you interact, you are building your 'Deck'.
Once in conversation:
Simply tap a card in your deck to flip it.
Drag and Release in the bottom half of the screen to dismiss it.
Drag and Release on the upper half of the screen to use the card.
This will lead conversation in the direction you choose.
The leave card can be played at any point to leave a conversation.
Your progress is saved as you go, close the game at any point and you can 'Persist', pick up just where you left off.
Certain puzzles throughout the game require the forward facing camera, or the device to be used in a certain way, rotation, or a change in brightness, I'll leave it at that, any more would be too much of a hint.
*Please note the game isn't taking photos, storing your image or information in any way.*
